Day +124
Hello to all those who continue to follow Nick and his progress. Nick continues to do well. He sill has days when he is tired and doesn't feel great, but over all, he is still doing well.
The doctors put him on medicine for his liver yesterday. His levels were elevated last week. This week, the levels went even higher. They are thinking it is a direct result of all the med's he is on. Hopefully the new liver med's drop his levels to where they should be. So we'll keep an eye on these levels an make adjustments as needed. They have increase his blood draws to twice a week for now.
Yesterday, Wishes Can Happen held a golf outing in Nick's honor. Geoff Lewis and his team did a great job putting together an outing that raised a substantial amount of money for this great foundation. Wishes Can Happen is located in North Canton and will be granting Nick a wish next year. Nick's wish was to go to the NBA All Star weekend and game in Dallas. There were two other families there as well. One family was getting their wish this year. She is a 4 year old girl who wanted to go the Disney. The other family received there wish two years ago, unfortunately that little girl lost her battle with cancer last year.
We want to thank Geoff and his team for a great outing, and also for dedicating your time to a great cause.
Well that's all we have to post for now. We'll be sure to keep you all updated on how his results are coming back as we get them. Have a great weekend.
