Day 3 Update

It's now 9PM and we finally made it home. We are all tired and looking forward to a good nights sleep at home.

Day 2 Update

Another long day of testing down...one more to go. Nick's day started at 6:30 this morning with a bone marrow aspirate and biopsy. Here in Cinci they knock you out for the procedure so it was completely pain free. He woke up telling the nurse he was going to play basketball, typical Nick always thinking about sports. LOL

Day 1 Update

We arrived in Cincy last night around 7:30PM. The testing began this morning at 8:00AM. We left the hospital at 3:45PM. Needless to say, we are all tired and looking forward to a good nights sleep.

Preparing for Cinci

Hi Everyone!
We will be heading for Cinci this week for pre-transplant tesing. Nick will have 3 full days of testing where they basically check every major organ in his body to make sure that he is healthy enough to go to transplant. They will also be doing another bone marrow aspiration and sample.
