Day +2

Day +2 was a good day! Nick is able to breath on his own without oxygen now except for when he is sleeping. Doc says his lungs sound much better than yesterday. They did have to put him on meds for high blood pressure but that is pretty common with some of the meds he is taking right now. He actually got out of bed today!!

They started nutrition today because he has not eaten since last Monday. The nutrion goes right through his c-line, so at least he is getting what he needs nutritionally now. Hopefully, his appetite will come back soon. The doc's said not to worry too much about getting him to eat because his body has been through alot over the last couple of weeks

So day +2 was pretty boring...we LOVE boring!

All those prayers are working, keep them coming!
